AR, 3D Printing advancing jewelry tech
Augmented reality and 3D printing are two of the new advances in jewelry technology that are changing the landscape of the jewelry world. The New York Times is out with an article stating these tech advances might lead to you becoming your own jewelry designer.

"Let's say a couple wants an 18-karat rose gold necklace to celebrate the birth of their daughter. Using digital tools on a brand's website, they could create a design dotted with diamonds in the same pattern as the starts on the night she was born, see realistic images of the necklace before ordering it and have it produced and shipped within five days, if not sooner."
The article futher goes on to discuss the role of "Non-Fungible Tokens", or NFT's, that are becoming all the rage in the cryptocurrency world.
